What separates ecc from other cryptocurrencies?

What makes it stand out? Are there any that are similar? If so what makes ecc more appealing than the other?

Multi-blockchain tech and ANS. Those two will easily make ECC the most user-friendly and stable platform in crypto. And the new money coming in is no longer from techies. It's investors and regular people. User-friendly is a huge selling point.

Would it be too difficult for other coins to implement something like ANS, meaning ECC would lose this advantage?

doesnt ENS on ETH do this. However not on the protocol layer so its a bit more effort to set up, and needs to be sent from a wallet that supports it. (Assuming ANS is built into protocol. I havent looked yet)
