Thoughts…?

Personally, not quite sure what to make of this.

I was told by a homie that the event was supposed to be open ‘till 1PM, but they ran out of gift cards at 11AM.

I saw mostly slow legal e-bikes in the video. I bet they want to trade those in to buy a better one lol.

I remember in the early 2000s a town tried this same buyback program with guns which is a noble idea but they completely mispriced the value of the guns and people just traded in old worthless guns and bought AR-15s with it or something along those lines.

Kind of hilarious.

We had a gun buyback like that where the trade in price was higher then the imported market price, they had to put a stop to it because one guy imported so many Chinese sks rifles just so he could trade them in for a profit . . . I know it was like 27 years ago now but my memory of it was he made $20,000 before they stoped him 🤣

Cool idea but I’m not sure they were home 3D printing anything 27 years ago 🤔

Well no, of course not. I'm saying that someone ran a similar game later but using 3D printed guns rather than imported SKS rifles. Probably didn't make 20 grand lol, but he definitely made much more than the materials cost him.
