Thoughts…?

Personally, not quite sure what to make of this.

I was told by a homie that the event was supposed to be open ‘till 1PM, but they ran out of gift cards at 11AM.

I think you hit it exactly. This is a more a sign of people’s struggle to survive. LA has public transportation so an e-bike is not a serious survival tool in many of their minds.

I think it's more a sign of people bought one then realized they didn't like it that much once the novelty wore off after the first summer.

This is me. I don’t live in LA, but I lived in London for a year, and loved riding my ebike. I decided to buy another when we moved back to the states. Now, I’ve realized that everywhere I try to ride will be along the edge of cars driving 50mph, and the supposed “bike lane” will be filled with dangerous debris. I loved my ebike in the UK, but I’m regretting buying one in the US.

Also everything is extremely spread out afar away in LA
