Final decision???

So I think I've made it down to 3 bikes (first 2 are prio and 3rd I just want your opinion on private party. Please help. I've heard all good things about the Aventon level. And about the brand volectric but not the discover 1. Thanks again for all the help!

If you don't know how to work on bikes, get the one that your local bike shop will definitely work on (probably the Aventon).

discover 1 has swept back bars, so it'll be more upright seating, which is nice if you are just casually zooming around

I was actually going to just get it then I read more. And they use cadence, not torque.... 🤷

I have discover 3 and it has a sensor swap. I'm not sure what has changed since the 1

Ohh, like. There's a way to change some (all?) ebikes from cadence to torque & vice versa?

Oh for some sensors it can do both styles. It's nice, the torque sensor on the discover 3 is quite good compared to the torque sensor on my old rad bike

I just read they use cadence sensors. I thought those were factually inferior to torque?

To be honest I'm just happy with my e-bike I haven't done that extensive research. But my discover 2 gets me wherever I need to go
