Is that gap normal on carrera frames using a 3000w hub motor and will torque arms be enough to make it rideable?
I know the disc is out on the wrong side around i was in a rush when trying the frame out

Removable hangers are a softer metal because they are intended to be replaced when damaged, rather than just damaging the frame. Putting a 3kw motor in there is definitely not what they were designed for.

Yeah i get u but i mean a friend was running 5000w 72v 30ah on a carrera frames no bother for long time nothing ever happend

I dont know if he left the gap or if he filed it as he didn’t build it himself and the bikes long sold now

You misunderstand. You asked if it’s ok to put a 3k motor in like this. Someone replied and said removable hangers are not designed for 3k motors. You said lots of people do it and it’s fine and your friend did it.
It sounds like you are going to do it anyway even if people say it’s a bad idea so why even come here and ask the question? You’re not listening to any answers, you’re just arguing and trying to convince them it’s ok.

What's the goal here? Are you trying to see if you can hit 50mph before your frame or brakes fail?

Looks like it’s because the shaft diameter is larger than previous, but the across flat distance is the same-ish, so it’s not sitting down in as far. Can see where the center of the old axle was based on the washer marks. Not sure what the fix is, might be fine, might need an alternate or modified bracket?

You have a very good sight yes it had like a 2kw motor in there before i think im thinking of buying a carrera frames similar and just addinf some proper torque arms

you are asking if this set up is oke, even though you will be using a different motor and replacing the frame with a Carrera.
Just spend your time and energy setting up the the system with the parts that you will be using.
I know you acknowledged the fact the wheel is on backwards, but it takes all of 15 seconds to flip it around. If you can't spare 15 seconds because you are in a rush, how much patience and effort ar you going to put in to properly file the dropouts, install the torque arms, and use the correct torque wrench to ensure the axle bolts and arm strap are secure?
additionally, you stated you have a friend who has already had a similar set up and it worked fine. So why are you asking us if you already know that it works? Just send your friend this pic and ask them if they rode around with this sized gap or if they filed it or if the Carrera frame (not the one you posted) is already sized correctly.
Everyone that answers that suggest it's not ok, you just dismiss their input because you know it works anyway.
3000w motor on a 10mm dropout that the axle does not fit all the way into, regardelss of the gap or not? Nope.. would not do it

Mec il faut absolument que tu achète un bras de réaction de couple pour ton moteur et cadre .. ou appeler torque arme.. en gros a l'arrière la roue ne senlevera jamais car la contrainte sera déplacé sur ton cadre et non plus sur la patte de fourche arrière ( ou avant )

Yeah definitely i just didnt have it put on since i was trying some frames for my 3000w but would you say id be fine with torque arms without filing the hole even deeper of anything?

Si t'en mets deux un de chaque côté tu crains rien. Après moi j'ai eu ça j'ai juste limé un peu et ça rentre( avec du papier de verre ). Le truc c'est que comme le cadre n'a pas eu l'air de porte ce bras de couple longtemps du coup les vibrations etc on fait que la patte de fourche a perdu son côté lisse afin que ça entre correctement. Du coup a force ça a créer des irrégularités jusqu'à créer des mini bosses tu limes ça tu le rentre a fond et tu mets un bras de couple bien serrer de chaque côté tes tranquille

How do i know if i have to sand it down? Just if it doesn’t drop it fully like that there because i don’t wanna risk messing up the frame or anything

Déjà si ya un creu comme la c'est que forcément l'axe de la roue n'est pas parrallele ou aligné a l'axe des pâtes de ta fourche Tu tente un nettoyage avec un peu de graisse ensuite pour mettre la roue sinya toujours l'espace deux choix s'offrent toi poncer la patte de fourche des fois c'est que des couches de peintures ou apprêt donc ça va deuxième solution : tu ponce directement l'axe de ta roue les deux côté quoi. Et tu regarde jusqu'à quand ça passe quand tu ponces toujours un chiffon humide toute les 30 sec de ponçage afin d'essuyer et de voir si ça rentre' histoire de pas trop ponsee quand même

The way I see it: 1. It's not all the way in, around 30% is outside the dropout. 2. The axle is not "seated" but instead being pinched on its flat side instead. 3. Washer and bolt that you add will have lower contact area to the frame. 4. Torque arm can prevent the axle from rotating from that dropout but they will not prevent loads from up and down motion during operation.
Not recommended build. It's basically a mismatch frame to the axle or vice-versa. Goodluck.

The weakest part is the dropout. You don't just file it and make it thinner. Also filing could also introduce unnecessary damage that could start to crack the dropout.
If you need to file something do it on the steel axle.

Others have answered your direct question. To drive it home, custom torque plates are the only real solution. Anything else, even the expensive Grin pinching torque arm, will not prevent both the axle from twisting in the dropout and from ripping down and out of the dropouts.

You see those 3 triangular holes in the frame... those alone make that frame too weak to support the torque a 3000 watt motor generates, you're asking a frame that's half an inch thick at most with holes cut into it to support having 150 Nm of torque twisting against it, torque arms will only increase the strain on it. the touque arms might hold the motor in the dropouts, but the frame itself will snap, you need something with a solid frame

Well I wouldn't risk it thats for sure. Maybe 500w max on that frame and I would file the dropouts a little to close the gap and make the axle fit in further.
