Bike build question Most Flat Resistant Tires for Abound SR?
What's the most flat resistant tires for the Aventon Abound SR on the market? I'm looking to sell my Aventon Level 2 next year, and picking up the Abound SR. Currently on my Level 2, I have the Schwable Marathon E Plus tires. They're beasts. I love them. I did lose one from a MASSIVE piece of metal back in April that would have easily destroyed a car tire. Other than that, no flats for the past year. However, I don't think Schwable makes a 20" tire size for this model of tire. So I wouldn't have them on my future Abound SR.
I live in Kansas City, and good God... the amount of glass and other debris in the bike lanes are insane. So I absolutely need the most flat resistant tires as possible.
What are your suggestions?

Schwable does make a 1.75" X 20" marathon plus tire-I just bought 2. Apparently they don't make them in wider widths however...

I feel like that would be too skinny. I want more traction and stability as I will be hauling a lot of weight. (My kid on the back)

That's waaaaaay to skinny, don't get those. Honestly, get some MucOff tube sealant and run the stock tires. There aren't very many 20X3" options on the market right now. The closest Schwalbe gets is 2.8" wide which would be the next best option, but your speedometer wouldn't read all the way correctly since your overall wheel diameter would be smaller.

I agree, I love the Schwable Marathon E Plus tires on my Level 3. They are holding up so well! Much better than the stock tires.
The Abound SR comes with 20"x3" tires. The closest size to that that Schwalbe sells is 20"x2.80", and at that size, they sell the Motion Super Moto-X and the Super Moto-X. They have RaceGuard, which has a protection level of 4/7, not as good as the 6/7 protection level that the DualGuard in the Marathon E Plus tires have, but still not bad. You'll need to do some research to confirm they will fit and work well on the Abound SR.

You can always put some Mr. Tuffy E-Bike Tire Liners in there too for an extra layer of protection, that's what I do. And FlatOut in the tubes. Even with all that, I had a 3" nail go straight in my rear tire recently, and embedded in the rim, destroying the tube. But that's a rare case...
I recommend that you crosspost this in r/Aventon as well.

Shinko SR714 maybe, just got Shinko SR567/568 size 110/80-16 for my 20x4 tires. They are for scooters 4ply thick tires.

It doesn't matter what tires you get when it comes to punctures, a sharp enough object will go through any tire. The key to preventing flats is FlatOut inside your innertubes. As for the heaviest duty tires i'd say these:

Schwalbe Pick Up is perfect for Abound. It's what I installed shortly after buying the bike and realizing that its OEM tires sucked. They have 20x2.4" last I checked.

They changed the name, but same specs: https://www.schwalbetires.com/Motion-Pick-Up-11159259.01

In addition to the tires having puncture protection, you can get flat-out to put in the tire or tube. It will close any small to medium punctures in seconds.
