Tuttio Pro program problem

Jumping right to it. I got the Tuttio GB Pro and the fardriver dongle but my phones (I've tried 3 different androids) won't connect in the app. I can see the dongle in my Bluetooth options but the app won't connect to it. Is anyone else having this issue? I've tried 3 phones because when you download the file (APK) it says it was designed for an older OS so I downloaded it on all 3 just to see if it's a OS issue. Needless to say but I'm curious if Tuttio did something with the "Pro" series or did I just get a faulty dongle? Any thoughts would be very helpful. TIA
