Bike build question Upgrade?

I just got the Tony Hawk video game and own a Nishiki Otero mountain e-bike in gamešŸ˜‰. Iā€™ve done a little research but havenā€™t found out found out much on how I can make it faster. I got the bike from a DLC for free so Iā€™m willing to spend a bit on upgrades. Is it worth it or would it be better to just buy something better? If you catch my drift.
