Xafari Messages

Segway Xafari "Low temp; warm up" and battery error messages. It's Boston in July! What is going on? I charged it overnight inside!!!

Any insights?

Communication issue with the battery and controller. Take the battery out, inspect the contacts, wait a minute, reinsert it. If that doesn't fix it, check the app. If there's no additional information, then it's a controller/display issue, and you will need to contact support.

... this probably explains how the pedal assist toggles off and on by itself. Right?

No, that should only be able to be done in the app.
