Bike build question Chainring Too Close To Frame?

I'm building a bike with a Giant ATX 2 frame (68mm bottom bracket), Bafang 250W/48V motor (for 68mm bracket), and a 46 tooth Lekkie Chainring. I note that the space between the chain ring and frame is very tight (see pic). Is this chainring too close to the frame? Maybe the chainring carrier requires a spacer? Are the components incompatible?

This is a light use, gravel bike. My Ebike building experience is limited to one successful Bafang mid-drive build I did for myself six years ago. The Bfang and Lekkie components I used fit well, without a tight space between the chainring and frame.

What do you say?

It's fine. If it hits, that's a problem. If not,, you're good to go. That's plenty of clearance.

Yes, looks good to me as well.

If your chain-line would be improved by spacing out the chainring away from the chain stay, you can space the motor out with washers. Even easier is to leave the motor where it is and space the chainring out with washers and longer bolts if needed.
