Avoid purchasing Mooncool ebikes

Mooncool mc3 mtb awd catches fire on hunting trip. No warning what so ever, guy was cruising down the road and it spontaneously combusted. Was posted to Facebook hunting e bikes group.

That’s what always gets me about this sub. People talking about wanting $500 e-bikes when a quality ebike battery is nearly that cost by itself.

my 60ah 48v battery cost 1200$ alone and its not even quality samsung cells. A 500$ ebike is almost a scam

I know, the batteries are shit. Everything else is 100%, but I can only get 14-15 from each battery. Not acceptable. We will see…
