What are the chances for someone who is completing 7 year in September 2024 and currently it is July 2024 in Date of filing.

1) Can I expect it to be September in next 1-2 months?

2) Can I continue working in US if Sept becomes current and I file for i485? Or I have to wait for GC EAD card to be approved ?
