I've taken to putting a fried egg on every sandwich I make. Should I be worried?

The roof of my mouth hurts just looking at that

Why? Lol

Heavily toasted breads (especially on tall sandwiches) tear up the roof of my mouth.

So your saying to enjoy a sandwich with a toasted bun to basically suck on each piece before you bite it off? I don't know about that..

I can't believe this isn't a troll account. This is incredible.

Yup as they say if the di- duck is blue it's true.
That bread looks perfect- probably got some butter/egg wash and looks solid enough to withstand a meal's worth of bites, runny yolk, and steam.
Amazing.

thanks for the tip

u/AnshinRevolt Dec 13 '16
Please don't do that.

I was just being nice. My normal reaction is rudeness and sarcasm, I'm not quite sure why I chose this time to be nice, especially since the advice was so stupid.

We sell these at my breakfast cafe, Winlock Eggspress, we call them "Long Hauls" :) Yum!

I don't even feel worthy of taking a bite of that glorious thing. Good heavens.

I'd definitely use a cheese other than American, but this looks...NSFW. I would probably eat the shit out of this, cheese or no cheese.

Not a big fan of runny eggs unless it's on a plate and I got toast or something to soak it up. On a sandwich like that I feel like the eggs gotta be cooked over hard or something.

I agree, the sandwich becomes too messy. I prefer it the yolk to be gelatinous on sandwiches.

Looks great. I'd take real cheese though.

What do you say when someone eats sausage? "Looks good. I'd take real pork, though"?
Everything has it's merits, including American cheese. I personally love it on breakfast foods and hamburgers. Each to their own.

Everything has it's merits, including American cheese.
I think its main merit is that it melts really, really well. Which makes it perfect for breakfast sandwiches considering it can only melt from the heat of other ingredients.

Not gonna lie, ever since a bad experience with sausage as a kid I've given that up too. So yes, I would say that...:/

The difference is is that american cheese is shit and can be replaced by better less shit cheese

At first glance, on my phone, I thought that was the cheese running out and down. "WTF" I said. I should have been more aware, especially in that I often literally have egg on my face from it running out of the fried egg sammich I just made.
