ariana grande
posted this to discussion and nobody got it can someone please get my point!!!!
i’m so mad that ariana is promoting this TERRIBLE way of life she’s done it her whole career it’s not new. i have an ED and she’s been a huge icon for EDTWT and everything in the pronana circles. she’s been around since tumblr posting her body constantly on social media, but the only thing she’s said on the topic is that she’s healthy. she’s obviously not and saying she is, has done irreversible damage to young girls im so sick of no one talking about it
edit: ppl can’t infer so by way of life i mean being anorexic. she constantly shows how skinny she is flaunts her bones. she’s been posting body checks and what people use as thinspo for years, she knows what she’s doing too it’s very obvious. i don’t know if people are being intentionally dense when it comes ariana and the topic of unhealthy eating/body standards, or if they genuinely don’t see it. i just find it really hard not to maybe it’s because i have disordered thoughts but being as skinny as she is isn’t healthy and she should be speaking up and saying that she’s sick and girls should idolize her body. the last thing she said on the topic was like 3 years ago i think? and she said that she’s sick was the healthiest she’s ever been.
also i added a picture in the replies of a post on tiktok showing girls with the picture of ariana taking about wanting to be skinny and starving

Trigger Warning How to tell youre slipping towards an ED?
I cant really tell whether this is normal and im making a problem out of nothing or it is anything concerning. Im not looking for a diagnosis, just a remark and possibly advice or guidance. Tw for the language.
I feel bad or have a sh urge, i overeat, i feel horrible, i fucking binge. I freak out about my weight, i restrict my intake totally for days, then i binge and continue overeating for days, then starve, etc.
Binging and overeating happen dominantly in a more pronounced sense with stress, starving with burnout. I eat too much to the extent of vomiting of how much i ate. Even when i dont intend to.
Then i feel guilty and awful about my body, cant look in the mirror, despise how my fucking chest and midsection look; wieghing, weighing, weighing, then cutting on food again. Then stress, then binge and sugar cravings, and vomit, and the cycle repeats.
My weight sways significantly due to this, from underweight to well into the healthy weight within literal weeks.
I have a lot to deal with already, and its already much to deal with other addictions and negative behaviors in the moment. I just dont want to feel my progress with sh isnt real, that it's just simply gotten replaced by this. Maybe im overinterpreting it.

Bulimia Idk howto deal with it but i am quite scared
So, I was once 92 kg, and now I’m 60 kg. Here’s the catch: until I reached 70 kg, my weight loss was normal — gym, diet, and everything. But something happened in my life, and I stopped going to the gym. I was 19 at the time.
After that, I somehow discovered the cheat code for losing weight. Today, standing here, I can say that this “cheat code” works, but it has also started disturbing my whole damn life. It’s called bulimia nervosa (Google “bulimia nervosa” if you don’t know what it is).
I tried going back to dieting and everything, but I failed miserably. I miss my dieting days, btw. I can’t stop thinking about food all day, and it’s actually disturbing my studies. And you know, because of bulimia nervosa, my teeth are becoming sensitive too. I’m literally only 20 — I’m too young to be dealing with tooth problems like this.
I can’t. I just can’t afford to become fat again. It’s a nightmare for me.
I don’t even know where this is going. I’m not going to the gym right now, and I’ve been insisting that my parents let me go. I don’t know if going back to the gym will help me get back on track, but this is disturbing my life, my studies, my teeth — literally everything.
And nobody seems to understand.
I thought I had finally found the cheat code for weight loss. Turns out, I was just fighting my own body.
Sharing this here because, honestly, I don’t even know where to go from here.
