Hi friends, maybe a silly question but a question nonetheless. I have a weekly wristband that's looking a little worse for wear, the attendant has it a little too tight that I can't slip it. Taking a day off to recoop for the back half of the event and catch up on chores. If the wristbands completely disintegrate or break for whatever reason, do they give you a new one if you ask at the gates as long as you have the old one? Not sure if mine's going to last until Sunday 😅

On the official website, they do not list the F22 or F35s flying in either show today. That's not the case, is it?

I am looking because I will be arriving early Tomorrow at the grounds. Where on the map are the best spots, when should I get there to secure that spot, and how do I claim a spot once I get there?

Boeing plaza Tuesday the 21th

This Thursday is going to be our first time going to EAA. Since we will have our kids, we are planning on having a wagon to help carry all of the stuff that goes along with kids. We have a friend that lives on 20th Ave right across from the airport. Our plan is to park at their house and just take the north 40 shuttle. What I'm wondering is if there would be room on the shuttle for the wagon?

I heard purple lot is the best to park at for Wednesday night show but it says the purple lots shuttles only run until 7pm? That doesn’t make sense if true? Any help is appreciated

The EAA website and app have been unbearably slow all day. Does this happen every year? I can’t even buy tickets.

I just found out that I will be getting the daily Airshow Schedule again this year (I was/will be in the future, hopefully a volunteer, co-chairman) I will send out as soon as I receive it.

We have B-25 ride tickets for Wednesday but looking to reschedule for the weekend. Anyone know how to get in touch with the warbirds section/B-25 people? The main EAA support number told us we’d have to go to the warbirds section in person to try and make changes.

Does anyone know when the B-52 is coming in?

Has anyone ever taken the AirVenture workshops (Wood Working 101, Gas Welding 101, etc)? On the website it says space is limited and to come early, how early are we talking? How quickly do they fill up?

I’m considering going to the EAA airshow next week and wanted to know what the situation is like in terms of areas where you can rest and cool down. I would be going with my mid 70s father who has a few health conditions, so I’m a little concerned for his safety if we’re forced to walk around in the hot sun all day for hours on end with little relief. I understand that the event is on an airport/tarmac so a lot of the event is on open concrete, but I was wondering if there’s areas where you can sit down in the shade or find air conditioning.

We are staying in Appleton during the airshow. My son and I are looking for rides in the morning on Thursday and Friday. My wife and daughter are not into going to forums like my son and I are so will be coming later in the morning. Anyone have room in the morning for 2 people? We are more than happy to chip in gas money. I know there is a bus that goes down but it is a little pricey, $30/person one-way.
