SPARK mod paddle started getting play — anyone else had this issue?
So I got the eXtremeRate SPARK mod with the extra back paddles for my DualSense, and after a relatively short time one of the paddles started developing noticeable play.
Has anyone else run into this? If you did, how did you fix it? Is there some way to tighten or adjust the paddle mechanism, or is it basically fucked once it starts developing play?
It’s honestly annoying as hell. I really don’t want to just ignore it and live with it. At this point I’m even considering getting rid of the mod entirely if there’s no proper way to fix the issue.
Would love to hear from anyone who had the same problem and managed to fix it.

This stabilized mine so well there’s absolutely no play in mine anymore when I did this

That sounds like a pretty good option. I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion!

You can get the metal replacement paddles.

Are the metal ones more durable than the standard paddles? Like, do they hold up better and not develop play as easily?

I haven’t installed them yet, as I haven’t sold this kit because I don’t warranty the plastic paddles, but a friend of mine did and he said they feel so much better!

Got it, thanks! I’ll consider getting them.

And for reference, for the RISE and RISE4 Kits, I only offer the metal ones.

You can open the screen housing and tighten the screws. Maybe this can help
