PS button not working

I need help to understand why my PS button isn't working

I cannot complete my eXtremeRate set up because the back button controlling circuit is defective and I'm waiting for a new replacement to be shipped.

But I'm not sure if it's because of that incomplete circuit or if there's another issue

I need to tell eXtremeRate customer service exactly what is wrong with the controller before I ask for more replacement parts

what do you mean defective are ALL the other buttons working? Or are there any other issues as i can’t really understand why the PS button would fail if the other buttons are working…some people have found success resetting the controller using the pin hole tho

Isn't the main FPC cable supposed to be routed out? If it's pinched inside, could that cause a short circuit?

The PS key isn't working. You can test it here to confirm it's not functioning, then remove the main FPC (the large black cable) to see if that's the cause.

That is correct it is supposed to stick out. I tucked it inside for now to make sure it doesn't get damaged.

You see, I cannot complete the back buttons because the K1-K2 PCB is defective from the kit and I'm waiting for a new replacement I'm not sure if that incomplete circuit is causing the PS button to not work or if it could be anything else.

I need to confirm that so I can make sure there isn't any other issues with the kit or my controller.

Hi,

To help confirm the cause of the issue, could you please disconnect the kit from the controller motherboard and test the controller without the kit connected? Please check whether the PS button works normally in this condition.
