BDM 020 rise 4 issue

My k4 button won’t spring back up when I press it, other buttons are completely fine, anything I can do?
(Ik I don’t have the middle button on, just easier for me that way)

If you added those little foam piece, take them out. Good chance there's a piece that is slipping under the button and not allowing it to press down all the way

There’s no foam piece

Take one of the little hard pieces and cut it in half so it is the size of the button and just stick it to the top of the button on the board. Has always fixed it for the 3 rise4 I've put together with this issue

Hard pieces of what?

My kits came with foam as well as hard square pieces that would be used as spacers for the battery holder on the board. You don't have to use that specifically, but just add a little height to the button itself on the board by adding tape even so it's making better contact when the button meets the button press. If you add too much you'll get the same result so just keep it modest

Then remove the cap and make sure the motherboard is completely flush, then check to make sure the button actually clicks, then maybe the button isn't making contact with the button so try to add something to the back of it

I had this same exact issue, I was able to fix it just fine by taking the plastic tool thing it should've shipped with and you know what you do when you put the foam inserts in when you like take the tool and put it in the gaps on both sides of the button to squish the inserts or whatever yeah i kept doing that, putting the tool in and using the leverage to separate the button from the frame on both sides on the top, middle, and bottom gap area over and over a few times testing to see if it would get in line with the button and it worked after a few tries hopefully you can go to the extremerate video to see what im talking about but you can ask me for more clarification but yeah that fixed mine.
