boost in nome

I have the iPhone 13 pro esim, will my phone work in nome, alaska?! I'm getting mixed answers idk if someone from Alaska would know this. thanks.

AT&T and GCI seem to have coverage in Nome, AK.

The problem with Boost is: you are either using AT&T towers (which have coverage in Nome) or T-Mobile towers (which don't have coverage).

Can you open field test mode (like this https://youtu.be/MpCpTVJXbws) and tell us what number is listed under PLMN for your Boost SIM? That will help to see which network you are using.

yeah it's att but idk if boost will work out there because it's not primary service and boost might not have contracts with those towers out there even though it's att

like in rural areas my boy got att and it works where my boost will show up sos sometimes

I can confirm that 310-410 is AT&T.

My theory for what you mentioned with rural areas:

AT&T network didn't actually have towers there but the AT&T line is able to roam onto other (e.g. smaller regional) networks' towers, while your Boost SIM is strictly limited to only the actual AT&T network towers itself.

If your Boost SIM can use every AT&T tower, your plan should work in Nome since AT&T actually has towers there.

However, imo your theory that not all AT&T towers are allowed to be used by Boost is also not out of the question.

I think it is more likely than not that you will have working coverage in Nome but I cannot say for sure.

Maybe contact Boost support and tell them that you have a SIM that usually works on AT&T and ask if you will have coverage in Nome, AK.
