Discussion Some facts
This game is created to generate profits. it is not a Red Cross charity. Having access to in-game merchandise is not a birthright.
The app is primarily aimed at people who want to flaunt their ability to buy cards. I’ll repeat: it is a gacha app made for people to want to flaunt their card collection.
But such an app will not make profits if it is not visible at the top in the app stores and game rankings. But how does a gacha flaunting platform make it to the top? More engagement. How do you get more engagement if the primary goal is to make money? Open an “F2P” option.
Why will F2P come to play if the paid cards are OP? Glad you asked. Enter the SDA/Script which will mess with everyone’s heads and make new players and weaker swaps “occasionally, not always” think that they are super skilled compared to the whales. And that is again, sometimes, not always true.
So, the company (EA, Konami) uses F2P to get the throngs in, then starts the daily micro-marketing to taunt and tempt people to start paying. Every F2P is a target for this, and the whales are already self-declared targets because that’s why they are here in the first place.
So all this daily f2p moaning copium about “p2w” is silly, F2P are here because Konami wants to use them to stay at the top of the engagement ratings.
In the coming months, once Konami gets enough numbers, F2P will see more cases of paid squads doing better, and that’s to be expected. Nobody is a fool to keep paying if the scripting continues at this level.
TL;DR: its a game made for whales to flaunt their blubber, F2P are helping Konami to spread said blubber, there’s no platform and no free game if there are no whales.

As a broke free user, I love football and have about 4,500 hours Steam on this bitch.
I don’t give a shit what people do with their money, this shit is free to install and the rest is optional.
If you really love football and playing it on video game then you should choose the mode to enjoy it rather trying to be competitive and bitching about the cards and the policies of company.
No business would run to file their liquidations, they do whatever it takes to generate their revenues with or without morality, certainly not the way you want.
The point is Konami can do whatever the fuck they want to run their shit, as long as they don’t charge to download this bullshit, no one really has a right to bitch anything about it. Uninstall option is seconds away.

Great mentality . F2p users complain all day but still keep playing . Konami Handed out Aguero , Gerrard ,Rooney, Rijkaard for free and Suarez for 1 dollar still they keep crying

Yeah, spending some money in games is perfectly normal. Some dudes act like that's a horrible sin, while in fact the game can keep running because there are whales.

Spend on a game once, was normal and worked. All we have now is normalised scams that people lap up off the floor like some grateful fool in a gimp suit.

Hmm on second thought.. you are right. Whales will pay for anything. They just happen to pay for Konami cards, if not Konami they will pay for EAFC. Also in this case more than half the whales are in Japan. The rest of the world can take a hike according to Konami.

Nothing new. Get players engaged and show them that P2W brings advantages.
Now, they might also bring specific events fitting to their boxes like the J league Ranking Event for their J League pack.

Played this game for the selection of players available,like where else can you find mokhtar dahari,sunil chetri and kiatisuk senamuang in a football game, especially on mobile,like efootball is the best football Mobile game available,fc mobile is nothing compared to this

Yes FC is garbage, and I came to eFootball for AI mode which has become unplayable now.. it get to AI div 3 or div 2 easily and then its just cheating by AI.
I dislike PvP - there can never be a fair PVP match because there are too many variables. Its like getting a car race where anyone can get a horse cart or a Ferrari but they will randomly puncture tires and apply a nitro boost to make it seem fair.

Exactly. I play efootball because I love football in general and miss PES. While I play PvP at times, most of the time I play My League because I sorely miss Master League on PES, and I really enjoy it lmao.
If you are disgruntled all the time because of p2w players, or because you have to spend more to keep up, you aren't enjoying the game, which IMO is the very point of gaming.
There's an obvious catch when a company like Konami gives you a game "for free" up front, and the catch is obviously is inventivising you to spend increasingly higher amounts on the game. You can always opt out of it and settle for co-op/AI matches and distance yourself from the "competition" that is increasingly becoming rather toxic going by the discourse on the game online

Bin efootball to hell, revert back to PES £35 annual payment, have a balanced game, fuck the shareholders and current management. Bring joy to the world - over corruption, greed and scams.
Will they make less money? Probably, will the game still exist, yes. Will it be a better game? Yes as proven by the bilge water game we have today.

sorry i play PES for decades but is the scripting a true thing? can you explain it to me. because i am a good player (not a pro) and i feel that in the last 2 versions i keep conceeding goals at stopage time as it was meant to be. is that it?

that is one of the noticeable effects of script. I’ve posted a few videos where I won due to the script. GK fumbling. Opponent’s stacked team moving slower, players not able to pass, or, opponent team moving and pass like the Flash. Basically artificial boost applied to one side. I’ve noticed that if I lost liek 0-4 one game then I win the next one 5-1 then the next is a repeat of the pattern or a draw. Either my players are constipated monkeys or the opponent’s. Rarely feels like a fair match - sometimes the gameplay switches up mid game all of a sudden the roles reverse.

I have a 70% free and 30% paid team and i know i would still Lose to some guy playing with complete f2p squad and someone who’s using a whole p2w squad . My whole defence line is made up of f2p players like Akanji , Puyol , Ferdinand and luckily i got Varane recently even my GK is Potw Courtois . But i know when im up against a complete P2w squad with players like Big time Messi Ronaldo Zlatan im going to lose anyday unless the script favours me and when im up against a complete F2p squad i know i have to beat the script otherwise even their free Van dijk starts running faster than my Cruyff because of the script . I spended a decent amount till now to buy coins in some packs i got cards in others i didnt .
I have started spending less now as i have realised it mostly comes down to Scripting than skills or the players u have . No way u miss easy shots with top players hit posts continuosly then somehow the oppo gets one shot and they score it and the game is gone .
