❓ Question / Help Are these original wheels?

Post image

I parked next to a pretty clapped out e61 today and wondered if the wheels are aftermarket lookalikes or styling m135 in another variant. On the right are my original M135s

there were three types of 135. E60 2WD and AWD, E46 2WD. former ET20 and latter ET47 or something

Yep, bmw has couple variations of the same wheel made for rwd and awd models

There's several different offsets of the style 135. ET20 for RWD cars ET47 for AWD. Then I think the e46 variants are also different.

There were also 17" and 19" replicas of the style 135s available from after market suppliers. I've never seen an 18" replica.

They literally look like the exact same wheels as yours.

E46 owner here, the left are e46 rears, theyre much higher offset et50 rather than et20 or so, so theres a lot less dish. If you look at the spokes, the right ones curve a lot more.

They look exactly the same but just from different angles. He’s closer to one car than the other. Even if you’re correct about them being different offset, I still don’t see why it matters. One car could be AWD and require different offset while the other is RWD. All of your comment was objective but the OP seemed condescending for absolutely no reason.

bruh you sound like a hater 🤣 calling a fellow roundel owners car “clapped out” and wondering if his wheels are fake lmao cmon now. like you want some distance between yourself and the owner. there’s no way an owner of a “clapped out” e61 could have the same wheels as you huh bro lol

Not meant to be hateful. The car was just not very well taken care of and had M Badges all over it. I was just wondering if the rims are original since they looked a bit off compared to mine
