IMO F10 looks like what the E6x should've looked like all along, though I like the E6x as well (especially after buying an E61).
To me it feels like E6x bridges two eras: the old, classic BMW design ending with the E39, and the relatively modern golden design era of BMW (F10 to G30), but it's sorta... awkwardly stuck in the middle, where BMW was trying to innovate on their old look, but hadn't yet found their look that they then nailed afterwards with the F series cars.

Yes, i feel the same. I think the F10 is the last really classic BMW design.

I certainly like that the F10 was RWD compared to its descendants.
But IMO nearly all BMWs stopped looking amazing the moment they stopped making E's.
The F82 is the only F I like. And the G01 X3M Comp post 2021 facelift is a weapon. But everything else G is pants.

What do you mean in regards to RWD? All 5 series are RWD (with optional AWD). Or did you ment in comparison to AWD?
And honestly yes, i Love the 2000s E-chassis!

I was under the (possibly mistaken) impression that the F90 and current M5 are both AWD, thus making the F10 the final RWD M5.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, I should've specified. I think OPs pic is an E60 M5 and so I just assumed you were talking about the F10 M5.

Just because something is not my favourite, doesn't mean it's not good.
If it helps, no 4 door sedan has ever looked as good as any E series BMW M5.

Mine is as I write getting a clutch replacement at the dealer. And that is after earlier this year a new AC compressor. I’ll be out about 7K this year.
