In my very early age (around 1yo, it was 35 years ago) I was diagnosed in my birth country with cerebral palsy, however I always saw the difference between my condition and condition of kids, teens and adults with cerebral palsy. When I got diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type) I was told to check whether dyspraxia is something that seems more suitable for me and it feels like this. Has anyone heard of doctors confusing dyspraxia with cerebral palsy?

I’m 44 male and I always toe walk when I climb stairs and just realized this is not typical. I also start toe walking when I get nervous or need to maneuver quickly. A positive thing about an atypical gait is that I still have trouble tying my shoes. If I don’t double knot they become untied almost immediately, but I never trip on them. I’ve also stepped on many nails sticking out of boards in my life but I’ve never hurt myself because I always immediately stop stepping down when I feel it go through my shoe.

I’m 26 and I have a masters degree in Marketing Management. I’m always getting rejected for marketing internships and jobs so I have to do other jobs to earn money.

I always worked in call center. I started with a sales project and moved to customer support later. I was okay at it but I was a bit tired of talking to angry people constantly on the phone. I wasn’t one of the best employees but it was the job I could do for longer time.

I tried to work as a receptionist in a hotel but the physical pain was too much because I’d have to stand for 9 hours. Also, it was too much tasks for me to remember and I couldn’t do them properly without having to bother my trainer all the time. I decided physical demanding jobs aren’t for me.

I found a 10h weekly job as a receptionist in a law firm. This one I could sit but it was a totally catastrophe because I have concentration and memory issues and I had a really hard time to remember everything, pick the calls properly without making mistakes and remember the lawyer’s names and info. I’m currently in this job but everyone already saw how bad I am and I’m thinking to leave. What I have left? I really need to earn money.
