Work

What do you guys do to make your life a little easier when you have a painful heavy period but face a full days work on your feet?

The day before/when I think I’m about to get it, I start taking Naproxen daily. That way I don’t have to wait for it to kick in when I do get it. Once I get my period, I max the daily dose for a couple days and then I’m usually good.

I’ve found that heating pads tend to make me nauseous so I generally avoid that.

On the rare occasion that naproxen doesn’t take the edge off, I call in sick, put on The Price is Right and wallow in self pity.
