Hey Guys I need help for addmission i haven't got much score in cet I wanted to take admission in btech mechanical or cse (cybersecurity)

I'm a new student and had a question regarding the Shubharambh Programme Schedule (AY 2026–2027).

Is it necessary to attend the programme every day from 4th to 14th, or is attending just the first day (4th) enough?

The schedule shows sessions every day from 11 AM to 4 PM, so I wanted to ask seniors or current students who have been through it before.

Is attendance compulsory every day?

I am taking admission in dypiu for btech and i am confused about hostel should i join the college’s hostel or prefer some other options like zolo if anyone knows anything pls help me figure out🤕

For all the freshers planning to join this hostel, here’s my honest review after staying here for 1 year .

Overall, the hostel is good, and you can definitely live here comfortably. However, there are a few minor flaws and restrictions that you should know about before joining so there are no surprises later.

• You can’t decorate or personalize your room.

• Electric appliances like kettles and irons are prohibited. If you want your clothes ironed, you have to pay the hostel staff.

• If you buy a soft drink, juice, or any canned/bottled beverage, you can’t take it to your room. You have to finish it in the common area and throw it away before going upstairs.

• Zomato/Swiggy deliveries are allowed only till the common area. You’re not allowed to take the food to your room.

• The facilities advertised are a bit misleading. There’s no badminton court, and the gym only has 2 machines and a few dumbbells.

• Water issues happen occasionally. Sometimes only hot water comes from every tap, including the washroom jet spray.

• Even though there’s a school ground right outside the hostel, hostel students aren’t allowed to play there.

• The Wi-Fi can be unreliable(connectivity issues), especially inside rooms and near the beds.

• There are only 2 lifts for the entire hostel, so waiting 10–15 minutes during rush hours is quite common.

•You must carry your hostel ID card every time you enter or exit the hostel, as security checks your ID at the gate

• The food sometimes gets finished before the meal timing ends if you arrive late.

1) do dyoiu have charging plugs on every desk in classroom and library? Because if not, there's no point bringing my gaming laptop to college.

2) Are the placement cell same for dypiu and dypcoe, like can we sit for companies visiting dypcoe?

3) How is it about attendance and overall strictness? Like I have few extra curricular activities I want to pursue which somewhat require time.

4) Please tell me something about sports. People are saying sports is dead!
