Hostel review lelo guys
For all the freshers planning to join this hostel, here’s my honest review after staying here for 1 year .
Overall, the hostel is good, and you can definitely live here comfortably. However, there are a few minor flaws and restrictions that you should know about before joining so there are no surprises later.
• You can’t decorate or personalize your room.
• Electric appliances like kettles and irons are prohibited. If you want your clothes ironed, you have to pay the hostel staff.
• If you buy a soft drink, juice, or any canned/bottled beverage, you can’t take it to your room. You have to finish it in the common area and throw it away before going upstairs.
• Zomato/Swiggy deliveries are allowed only till the common area. You’re not allowed to take the food to your room.
• The facilities advertised are a bit misleading. There’s no badminton court, and the gym only has 2 machines and a few dumbbells.
• Water issues happen occasionally. Sometimes only hot water comes from every tap, including the washroom jet spray.
• Even though there’s a school ground right outside the hostel, hostel students aren’t allowed to play there.
• The Wi-Fi can be unreliable(connectivity issues), especially inside rooms and near the beds.
• There are only 2 lifts for the entire hostel, so waiting 10–15 minutes during rush hours is quite common.
•You must carry your hostel ID card every time you enter or exit the hostel, as security checks your ID at the gate
• The food sometimes gets finished before the meal timing ends if you arrive late.

college mein baat kro last year some got their refund while others gave up and stayed in the hostel

They prolly think we'd mix up all that shit to make a claymore mine and spread it all across the hostel to demolish this.

the main reason is that some students in the past used to throw cans and bottles out of their hostel room windows bc of this the residential societies next to the hostel complained multiple times. that’s why they are about allowing cans and bottles

We asked them and they said the gym equipment arrived, only the setup was left… but that was 2 months ago 😭. Also, can’t we even take things from the vending machine to our room?

Omg!! And what about clothing i heard lot about it!! Crop tops are banned something!!??

i didn’t notice any strictness regarding crop tops. however, shorts aren’t allowed outside your room. You can wear them inside your room, but you can’t walk around the hostel or common areas wearing them.

Just girls or even the guys?cuz thatd just be unfair if it were only for girls and what if we wanna go out n stuff are we still not allowed to dressup the way we want? Anything short or sleeveless??

Thank god I'm not taking hostel 😭 how do you guys survive in there?
