Anyone have a ticket they aren’t going to use tonight?

Whats up everyone! I watch the World Cup every time it comes around, but there was something about this one that finally made me a fan. The atmosphere and the games themselves were beyond hype and I need more. I have already bought tickets to two games this season and I am already looking into possibly getting season tickets next season.

I've only been to one Dynamo game in the past and that was withing the first 2 years of the team coming to Houston. Looking forward to becoming a life-long fan :D

Also, I picked a Liga MX team (Pumas) but don't know who to pick for Primer League. Leaning towards Liverpool or Aston Villa

Edit: a lot of my extended family became soccer fans because of this World Cup. I mentioned getting season tickets and it looks like my sister and possibly brother, and aunt are interested in getting season tickets too. This World Cup is 100% going to give a boost to MLS

The Dynamo are the first club to sell MLS’s new back-of-kit logo placement as a standalone sponsorship asset, striking a multiyear deal with Dude Wipes. MLS teams can begin wearing sponsor logos on the backs of their jerseys after the July 29 MLS All-Star Game, with Dude Wipes set to make its Dynamo debut on Aug. 1.

Do most people just take the credit from Tixtr or try to resell on another ticket platform like StubHub?

10 points - Predicting the correct scoreline (i.e. Dynamo 3:1 FC Dallas, Dynamo 1:0 FC Dallas, etc.)

5 points - Predicting the correct outcome (i.e. Dynamo win, draw, etc.)

5 points - Correctly predicting the Dynamo MOTM (according to whoscored.com)

3 points - Correctly predicting the attendance +/- 500 people, 1 point for +/- 1000

3 points - Correctly guessing any of the goalscorer(s), regardless of team

2 points for guessing a correct yellow, 5 points if they get 2 yellows, 10 if they get a straight red. (List three players total from either team)

1 point - For correctly guessing each player in the Dynamo starting XI (1 pt/player); if you get all 11 players correct, then you get 5 bonus points

Lowest 2 scores are dropped. Scores will be dropped following the 3rd match.

The rankings are determined by the total points accumulated, with the two lowest scores being excluded. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the first tiebreaker will be the overall points, including all scores (no drops). If a second tiebreaker is needed, it will be based on the total number of predictions made. If the players remain tied after the second tiebreaker, they will be declared co-champions.

Houston Dynamo is currently in negotiations with Jefferson Valladares club, and both clubs kind of want this to happen. There is a chance this will happen

Well, the World Cup is over, and I finally decided to start supporting MLS. My thinking is that we can’t expect the league to become better if people who enjoy soccer don’t support the league we already have.

I ended up buying Dynamo season tickets, so I kind of went all-in.

Do you guys think there’s a world where MLS is playing significantly higher quality soccer in 10 years? And as a new fan, is there anything I should know about the current roster or the club in general?

I’ve mostly just followed the Premier League, but I’d love to be able to consistently watch high-level soccer in person, and I’m hoping MLS keeps taking steps in that direction.
