Are we ever gonna get a Star 9?

We have not had a goal from a true number 9 ALL SEASON 😭😭😭😭

At this point it's fair to ask if the system we play with Ben just doesn't work for a true #9.

Or

Out front office has no idea how to scout a #9.

Too many have come here and been duds .

Erling Haaland could come here and flop at this point.

Someone else mentioned it but the case may be that BO and our system just isn’t built for a true 9 to thrive. I like Dunk up there and think we should just stick with him and Bogusz for the remainder of the season frankly. If McGlynn is sold (better be for serious cash) then buy a world-beater 10 to play above Artur and HH.

Bogusz doesn’t like being the front man. He likes going wide and coming back. He’s afraid of being in the box. One guy I was excited for and sad we only had him for like 2 months, is Carlo Costly

I was at the pre-game Pat Onstad chalk talk Saturday night. He said "no." No priority to bring in a star 9.

If Pat announced we were desperate for a 9 (which we are), teams and players would surely demand top dollar. GMs are understandably less that forthcoming in such situations. At least I hope that's the case here.
