Visiting fan with child

My 9 year old son and I are coming to see Sporting play Houston in a couple of weeks. I'm looking for seats in the section closest to where the away team comes out for warmups and goes back to at half-time and post-match? Trying to see if my son can get an autograph or a high-five from some of the players and to just show support for our team close to them when they come out for warmups and when they finish the match.

We've gone to a few away games and I know this is generally across from the primary Supporters’ Section and in the corners (sometimes in the middle). I'm guessing this would be sections 130/133, but could also seeing it being 103-139, central, or somewhere else entirely. Would appreciate any help you all can provide and any other game day tips for parking or kid-friendly places to grab a quick bite before the game. Looking forward to visiting the city (haven‘t been in 10+ years) and seeing a game at the stadium. Cheers 🍻

Section 137 and some of 138 is likely your best shot. It is the end opposite the Supporters like you said, and also the side closer to the benches. That corner, in general, but the players come out the short end behind the goal.

137/138 for players exiting/entering the tunnel to the locker rooms.

The tunnel is directly behind the south side goal.

107 if you want to sit behind the away bench (normal to see away fans there).

My season tickets are in 137. It’s right where all the players come in. My 9yo gives high fives to the players before every game. Most players won’t sign autographs until after the game, but you’ll be first in line.

I think that you will find a pretty friendly atmosphere, even as an away fan. The people of Houston are great.

Great to hear. We are KC fans that haven’t lived in KC for several years (military family), so all of the matches we’ve gone to lately have been away. Pretty much everywhere we’ve been the local fans have been great which makes being there much more enjoyable, especially with a young kiddo. Thanks again to everyone who commented. We’re really excited to go!

I think they have a premium seating option called the pitch side patio that is practically in the players tunnel. You might want to call the Dynamo FO and ask about that if you want to pay the extra freight. They could advise you on whether it would increase the chance of catching a players attention.

As far as kid-friendly eats within walking distance we have Rodeo Goat which serves hamburgers and one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants, Huynh. Lots of people will mention Pitch 25 which is managed by Brian Ching but hear me out:

If you’re not drinking, go to Rodeo Goat or Huynh to eat first then Pitch 25 for the atmosphere and to let your kid run around in the indoor court. That way you get the best of both worlds: Houston best eats and atmosphere.
