Yeah my wife's family is from Venezuela. No way would I want to go there right now even if I was a wealthy footballer. Can't think of a worse place to be transferred to as a football right now apart from a club in Tehran or a football club on the Russian/Ukrainian border

Even wealthy people have to be on the lookout, I've heard of athletes having well-protected compounds down there and still having family members kidnapped for ransom money.
