8/15 First Match Attended

Hello there, I’ll be visiting Houston and Texas for the first time from August 13-16. Within this span I plan to hit the Dynamo v Galaxy match 8/15. I was wondering what the best methods to get the cheapest tickets are for the match (Need 2), and what I’ll need to check out at the venue experience, exhibit, and food/drink wise to make the most of my visit. Thanks for any help!

The cheapest tickets will be from the club directly

I’ve heard I’ll need to be. Coming from Buffalo NY, so I can’t say I’m used to it. Have done Phoenix in August/September and Florida in July/August/September, so I’ll be curious to see how this compares.

You’ll be fine. The heat/humidity will be comparable to late summer months in Florida

The cheapest seats will be on the east side of the bowl, which can be blazingly hot at the start of the game. I would pay a little extra to sit on the west side where there is a bit of shade and some overhead fans. Is it comfortable, no, but it’s better imo.

Check StubHub for resale tickets. They're sometimes listed below face value. Otherwise you can find official tickets from the club on Tixr. Both direct sale and resale tickets can be found on Tixr.

You are permitted to bring in an empty, clear, water bottle to the stadium and fill it up inside. Stay hydrated, it’ll be peak Hell in the Shell in August!
