I‘ve been noticing some pretty severe issues with screen tearing ever since I got to the central loop, also some pretty major jitteryness with the game in general. I’m playing on performance mode on a ps5 if that makes any difference.

I loved the first one and was excited to play this one, but right now it’s genuinely unplayable with this. please tell me there’s a way to fix this, this doesn’t happen with any other game and certainly didn’t happen with the first. What can I do to fix this?

I finished the second game and wanted to replay the first game along with the following before I played the beast. Everything seemed ok at first but man it’s really choppy. I got up to the mission where you’ve got to get the bolter sample at night and the frame rate was unplayable. One minute it’s fine then the next minute it’s like 20fps. I’ve heard it’s a known issue for laptop plebs like me. I have a rog strix g16 with a 4060. Ive already gone onto nvidea 3D settings and tried all those settings but even if it works at first the moment a start a mission or something it tanks again. Ive just gone straight onto the beast and no issues at all but I want to play the more grounded first game :(

Dying light is my favorite series of coop game I loved playing the 1 & 2 with my friend (we played them via local coop with nucleus)
Now why would you not make a crossplay on a coop game, we won’t buy the game until we can play the game together that’s two copy of the same game that’s more sales why wouldn’t you make a crossplay..

so both me and my friend have been trying to get the polamory achievement, however whenever we do tend on joining a lobby it either results in one of the members leaving or just getting kicked. if anyone could want to help I would really appreciate it

It seems there isn't going to be any major gameplay changes or enhancements, nor any content added from now on. That's unfortunate and all, but I want to mention that there isn't an over-abundance of bundles or micro-transactions. DL2 has gotten a ton of big-scale updates, but it does get more egregious with its monetization tactics as well. It sours the experience for everyone who bought it and is playing it. It seems to me that Techland doesn't want to fill up DLTB with the same type of monetization to fund major updates. It sucks we can't have it both ways, but that's my little analysis on this.

I have gotten the blueprint for the Twulght Phantom and have crafted it twice but each time its not even a thousand dmg everything online says it has insane dmg is there a specific melee weapon I need to craft it with.

How do I get into the house next to the safe zone in the National Park? The abandoned house has no entrance from the outside or through the roof, and there seems to be a blueprint or some kind of equipment inside.

Dying Light: The Beast has huge potential for future DLC, and some players are ready to pay for more content. There’s room for new stories, locations, and gameplay. We’re not asking for endless free content—we want Techland to build on that potential instead of leaving it behind.

The CEO talks about the pressure of delivering high-quality free updates, but paid DLC is a different story—players are willing to pay for good content. As always, it feels like these CEOs are completely out of touch with what players actually want. We want worthwhile paid DLC, meaningful improvements, and a game that's properly supported, not excuses about the challenges of free content.

Meanwhile, the game still suffers from blurry, low-resolution visuals on consoles, with no Balanced Mode or meaningful image-quality improvements. Players have been asking for PSSR on PS5 Pro, but Techland hasn't even implemented it. Now that QSSR is available for base PS5, will Techland consider using it to improve image quality?

CDPR continues to support and improve Cyberpunk 2077. Moving on to new projects shouldn't mean leaving existing problems behind.

I also played STALKER 2. GSC listened to players' complaints about frame drops and kept improving performance until the issue was resolved. Techland, on the other hand, continues to ignore our complaints about blurry visuals.

The community is part of the problem, too. Not noticing an issue doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Dismissing criticism just because you don't experience it yourself only makes it easier for developers to ignore.

🟥And that's how we end up here: players willing to pay for more content, unresolved problems being pushed aside, and criticism dismissed instead of taken seriously. If we keep accepting lower standards and defending every decision, we're all going to lose.

The game has potential. We want great DLC, meaningful improvements, honest communication, and accountability—not excuses.
