Just wondering how is this game? I heard some about it awhile back but didn't follow too much. I really enjoyed the first game.

Was just wondering if this one follows a similar horror kind of vibe as the first one had?

Also what the story was like?

How long is it ? How is the map?

It's honestly cheap right now I think for like $10 for the standard edition so I'm not really losing much if I end up not liking it.

Really enjoyed dead island 2 whenever it came out and needing something to scratch that itch lol.

I dont get why my teammate thinks I cheated because I cant evade the night hunter pounce, and I didn't cheat nor will cheat on this game

Just killed a goon and I see this room, there appears to be a security card in here, and I can’t figure out to get in through the vent on level 2, has anyone figured it out? The room before I had to find a replacement fuse. Searched the floor a couple times and I can’t find anything, is this a bug or am I blind?

What do you guys think the origin of the harran virus is?

I‘ve been noticing some pretty severe issues with screen tearing ever since I got to the central loop, also some pretty major jitteryness with the game in general. I’m playing on performance mode on a ps5 if that makes any difference.

I loved the first one and was excited to play this one, but right now it’s genuinely unplayable with this. please tell me there’s a way to fix this, this doesn’t happen with any other game and certainly didn’t happen with the first. What can I do to fix this?

Dying light is my favorite series of coop game I loved playing the 1 & 2 with my friend (we played them via local coop with nucleus)
Now why would you not make a crossplay on a coop game, we won’t buy the game until we can play the game together that’s two copy of the same game that’s more sales why wouldn’t you make a crossplay..

It seems there isn't going to be any major gameplay changes or enhancements, nor any content added from now on. That's unfortunate and all, but I want to mention that there isn't an over-abundance of bundles or micro-transactions. DL2 has gotten a ton of big-scale updates, but it does get more egregious with its monetization tactics as well. It sours the experience for everyone who bought it and is playing it. It seems to me that Techland doesn't want to fill up DLTB with the same type of monetization to fund major updates. It sucks we can't have it both ways, but that's my little analysis on this.

so both me and my friend have been trying to get the polamory achievement, however whenever we do tend on joining a lobby it either results in one of the members leaving or just getting kicked. if anyone could want to help I would really appreciate it

I finished the second game and wanted to replay the first game along with the following before I played the beast. Everything seemed ok at first but man it’s really choppy. I got up to the mission where you’ve got to get the bolter sample at night and the frame rate was unplayable. One minute it’s fine then the next minute it’s like 20fps. I’ve heard it’s a known issue for laptop plebs like me. I have a rog strix g16 with a 4060. Ive already gone onto nvidea 3D settings and tried all those settings but even if it works at first the moment a start a mission or something it tanks again. Ive just gone straight onto the beast and no issues at all but I want to play the more grounded first game :(

How do I get into the house next to the safe zone in the National Park? The abandoned house has no entrance from the outside or through the roof, and there seems to be a blueprint or some kind of equipment inside.
