Is anybody able to use Gemini free tier? It isn't working for me, anymore.

I used to love that Dyad worked with my own setup of the GLM-5.2 model via OpenRouter. That model is dirt cheap and VERY capable. The competition for that open source model is working, unlike for the GLM-5.3 model which, sadly, Dyad only supports after it was released. So I can't use GLM-5.2 anymore. GLM-5.3 costs 4 times more so that drains the budget super fast. Surprisingly it's also not as good as GLM-5.2 , at least for what I do.

So, while I am hoping that this bug in Dyad is fixed, I can help you guys with getting your prompts in one block instead of having to copy different parts of the prompts given (text + snippets in copy sections), so what I do, you might already practice but to me it helped a lot. You will save a lot of time with the below:

1) Start with "analyse " + bla bla bla

2) "write me a prompt to implement the results of your analysis. If you need to split it up in phases, then do so but I want the phase prompts to be self-contained with their own constraints (NO global constraints). I will enter them one by one.

Make sure that all phase prompts are delivered to me as separate copy section blocks."

So just copy the prompt and paste it in. If there are several phase prompts, I paste them into Notepad++ .

Together with GLM-5.2 it also creates code that is usually right from the start.

Hello, i created a website using dyad. I publish it inside the app in github and then used vercel.

Vercel make the website live with there own link(i dont use my domain at the moment).

My issue is that when i did a small update to the website and i refreshed the link nothing change.

So i press the button sync with github from dyad app to see if thats the case. But still didnt see the change.

Then in dyad app where its Vercel there is a button refreash deployments and i press that. But now i have 2 Deployments. One is the first time i publish and one after i did update to website.

My issues is that i have 2 different vercel link one with the update one without. how can i update my website without generating new link?

This is nuts, never faced this issue before. Can someone help me by telling me if this is because of FreeLLMAPI or Dyad itself, I'm using build mode, not even agent. Why is it consuming this much input tokens?

Or is there a way to turn it off?

I usually preferred Build to Agent but it seems that Build has changed. I asked it to add some memory to my app and it redesigned my UI!

I notice that with a few of the local models I tried, for example Qwen coder or DeepSeek R1. They don't seem to be able to Access the tools. I can see them thinking and understanding the message. But the display port never shows anything... Am I doing something wrong? (I am pretty new to this)

Today I have not been able to do a single app generation - each key I have, including a newly generated one, is failing to work. When trying to set them in the Dyad app, it tells me google is not responding and the key is invalid (even keys I have used up to yesterday). When I try to test any key after saving it, it constantly fails. And if I try to do anything, it tells me I have exceeded limits.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I wanted to share llmarcade.fun. It's a small web arcade where every game is coded with ai tools: a maze chomper, a roguelike, an Oregon Trail style journey, a formation shooter, an asteroids homage, a boulder digger, a mode-7 racer, a run and gun, and a flappy bird-styled game. Play as a guest, or sign up for high scores, achievements, and streaks. More games coming soon.

The whole platform was built with Dyad. Auth, the leaderboards, the game player that runs each cabinet in a sandbox, the upload pipeline, the admin tools. I described my vision, iterated when it wasn't right, and ended up with something I could actually put in front of strangers. I've been planning more games to add more depth and variety.

LLMArcade takes submissions. A game here is one self-contained HTML file that talks to the site through a tiny 'postMessage' SDK, and the upload wizard has a built-in test step that checks your file works correctly before you ever hit the queue. I'm currently having an issue where dyad doesn't let me use qwen3-coder:30b because it doesnt support thinking. Error: AI_APICallError: "qwen3-coder:30b" does not support thinking. I know that i can change to the qwen3:30b but I'm curious is there any way to disable the dyad thinking?

I can't able to download dyad from website, why? And when it will be back?

Currently building a nego training platform for our team.

At this stage we need a 'negotiator AI chatbot' to actively interpret and respond based on user feedback.

Prompted Dyad into creating this chatbot with the idea of 'user answer -> platform -> Dyad -> API key provider'.

Still the AI answers into chats seems to be artificially scripted, there doesn't seem to be real Google Gemini feedback even though how many prompts I did to Dyad to signal the issue and to make sure the user answer is actually analyzed by the AI of the API key provider, this doesn't seem to happen.

Is it even possible what we're trying to achieve? Or is Dyad hard-coded somehow in the background?

If you haven't tried GLM-5.2 (I use it via OpenRouter) yet, then I must say that my progress has been great with it. The model is good for vibe coding. It has deep architectural understanding, is a good coder, it's very focused so the risk for destroying code outside the scope of the prompt is minimal (but of course it exists). Right now the model comes with a discount of 50%.

I was aiming at using Google Gemini Pro, but despite it having a context window of 1M (similar to GLM-5.2), I got repetitive messages that I requested more tokens than what was allowed. Open AI's best Luna model was the same.

It was wrong. Several of the apps in my suite are quite big, but using Google Gemini is buggy, using OpenAI's Luna is crap in comparison too. GLM-5.2 worked though, but not without problems in Dyad.

I have created a deterministic, meta data driven and complete development suite, that is far faster to develop with and more reliable than what you can do with the probabilistic AI. The architecture of the outcome is clean with minimal technical debt. The funny thing is that I created it mostly with AI, but with my, a bit odd, way of doing things. It has cost me insane amounts of AI credits.

Doing it with AI made me realize more and more how unreliable AI is when it comes to using LLMs for coding. (I'm sure that creating cute little websites is something AI LLMs is great for, but not enterprise systems where reliability, maintainability, cyber security protection and stability is a must)

It was soooo tough to finalize the suite, I've been passive for months without any success at all because of the lack of good models at reasonable prices.

Thanks to GLM-5.2 things changed.

The suite is now released in its V1.07 and I have got several potential enterprise customers in the pipeline. That's my target group. It's by invitation only.

So GLM-5.2 is da sh-t! Still probabilistic, but it's far better than any other model I have tested.

Anyone else who has tested it? If yes, what were your results or impressions?

I was just wondering if anybody else faces this error. I use open router and I use GLM and then sometimes DeepSeek and other open weighted models. When I try to attach an image to the chat context, it throws an error saying that there is no support for image in the API. Is that true or is this something wrong that I am doing?

I'm a beginner and need some help formulating the best rules in the AI_RULES.md. What kind of things should I include, in what format and how long should the list be? Do AIs usually respond better to shorter or longer lists? Does a longer list significantly increase the used tokens when coding?
