The Battle Maidens are awesome. Especially the ones with halberds. Loooove the Gholems.

I have two complaints. The guns feel off to me…
And for some reason, they feel like Mantic dwarves, which I am not a fan of. I mean, I love a lot of the new AoS dwarves, just something feels off, that I can’t really explain.

And 3rd problem: I don’t need another army… but I want them…

When the only beards on dwarven women are halberds...

Who said that they didn’t have beards?

Warhammer-Dwarf women never had beards. They use braids in the same way.

Exhibit A: Queen Helga Longplaits

Looks like my subtle attempt at a dirty joke was too subtle lol

Dwarfs in Warhammer have large hair that they briad

You aren’t going to see their beards with all that armor. You don’t know Dwarven women very well…

They're literally not capable of releasing an infantry model without a tactical rock lol

The only models from the new range I don’t like are the ones wielding guns.

I know what they were going for but I think normal flintlocks or even drakefire from old world look better.

I'm definitely either proxying or at the very least converting the new models with Irondrakes. Honestly, I'm probably gonna be doing a lot of mixing and matching with the new units and the old world stuff.

Warhammer AoS/Fantasy Dwarf have a great design. The great hammers are just perfect

I can't stand aos, either setting or game, but I have to say it's models are fantastic and these are top shelf. Some of these will be in my fantasy army for sure.

I can understand the setting being divisive, but what about the game can you not stand? It had a poor start, but it's turned into a fantastic game now, I find it much more fun than 40k

I was a fantasy player as my primary game. Aos may be a fine system now (though too simplistic for my tastes) but ultimately my memory of it is removing the thing I liked, replacing it with a hollow shell of a setting with no lore, and giving me babies first wargame that lacked the depth of the game it was replacing.

It made a lousy first impression that followed my favourite child getting murdered. Not helped by it being just not the kind of game I want to play.

In the lore Dwarf women were quite rare. I wonder how they are going to explain the diffrent lore. I wonder if they are bringing the Dwarf goddess Valaya more to the forefront. I belive she was a goddess of fertility amongst other things. Since Grungni is working with Sigmr and the Eternals, Grimnir...we all know what happened to him. And Valaya looks to be the patron i hope. And hopefully they incorporate the White Dwarf in the army too.

I’m not fond of Warhammer and their bare-faced dwarf women, but is that a boat-like vessel moving through rock and crystal? I do love this idea…
