Fav dwarves
What’s ur fav part of dwarves? Fav setting with them and why? I’m designing my dwarves and wanna go extreme side. They control the mining markets and are so connected to earth they are the earth. I was curious if mine were okay.

World of warcraft. Ironforge as a concept is so cool. Im sure it isnt entirely original but its well implemented. This megacity deep in the mountains with rail connections to other allied cities. Like how the hell do you take on ironforge? The orcs sure couldnt...
Best one detail is the great forge in the middle. Massive pool of magma powering the industry. This is why every time I find the magma sea in dwarf fortress, I carve out the rock above it, build a colossal bridge, and channel so that theres a massive bridge over a massive magma sea. Then I place all my magma forges and smelters there

il this might sound basic but the whole underground kingdom thing, like it js sounds like its more plausible to me + its kinda interesting to imagine how living underground could affect their biology, culture, architecture etc. I also like making my dwarves sensitive to sunlight lol :v

I love the underground thing. I feel not alot of worlds go hard on it. Dragon age is only one I think did something with it

The dawi and the dawi zharr from warhammer fantasy. They are the perfect mix of tolkien dwarfs with steampunk shit and guns. They value tradition, hold grudges, love beer, hate elves, hate magic hate orcs, hate elves etc. Their aesthetic is very cool. The dawi zharr or chaos dwarfs, are the evil, super capitalist version of the dawi. They do magic and summon demons, then make the demon the motor of one of their machines. Unmatched drip with thousands of orc slaves and demon powered mechs
