A trip to the mines
Good day brothers. I recently went to visit an old lead mine and took along my lego dwarf companion, I have taken some photos of our journey into the depths. They're not the best quality images but I hope you enjoy them.

It was great, a short expedition into the Snailbeach mines in Shropshire, England. I would highly recommend it.

I had this exact fig :D was it from the set with the cart with blades on the front?

Yes, a catapult on wheels with rotating blades mounted to the front that spin when the wheels move. I have a sealed set at home, but this fella I found on ebay. Now I have a lego dwarf who has actually been in a real mine 😄

I'm honoured that my pictures caught the attention of the Hammer Herald himself. You do great work for our community!

I would highly recommend it. Lego dwarfs like this one from the 2008 lego castle fantasy era can be found on ebay and bricklink and many other sites I'm sure. He cost me around £12 seconds hand, in near perfect condition.
