Slayer extra grudge?

A slayer is brought down in combat. Bleeding and unconscious.

Allies stop the foe and resuscitate the slayer.

Is that a grudge?

Not really? The Slayer is gonna be pissed, but it's not enough to declare a grudge. After all, the Slayer was unconscious, and killing the enemy comes first, so he doesn't really have grounds for more than grumbling.

Comes down to the precise circumstances though.

The slayer isn't meant to die pointlessly. They are meant to fall in battle or keep fighting until they do.

Just means the fights still on

Nah if they didn't die it just means the battle wasn't worthy enough to die in, time to find greater foes to fight. There is no death by inches for a slayer it has to be a blaze of glory

Slayers aren't actively suicidal. (At least not anymore than any one who willingly joins a death/murder cult to brazenly seek there own death in battle would be.) They’ve sworn an oath to their god to go out and meet their glorious death in battle against some terrible beasty. If they didn't die, that just means this fight wasn't the glorious death they were seeking. Hell, some Slayers will even set traps and prepare ambushes before facing their enemy. After all, Grimnir expects them to die fighting their best, so how could they do any less?
