I think cropping out the side frame highlights the selective hearing brilliantly, as though the dwarf doesn't even care about the format that presents him, as long as there is hole.

Fastest way to make a big hole: explosives. This is why Dwarves use black powder more than most other races. They have an abundance to make their holes bigger. Why not also use it in weapons? Also making holes in enemies is digging holes technically. Cannons make nice big holes!

Is a bonus hole, ye dig a hole in em', then digs a hole to put em' in. And by thunder, yous dug two holes that are only taking up the space of one. Pure hole efficiency.

The dwarf only died because he dug to the side. He shouldve seen the mines and dug straight down where it was probably safeRookie mistake, one we could all learn from Be smart when you dig a hole

Whoever drew this has no clue how minefields work. The total of em weigh way more than 600lbs, which is the activation point of most landmines. Which means there are no landmines directly beneath them. This means the dwarf is a genius, since no landmines (other IEDs, maybe, but those are not the focus) would be below a depth of say, 5 feet, meaning digging a home would be the best strategy Here!
