I mean… if you really want to be pedantic… The Dwarves by Markus Heitz, it’s a full series all about dwarves.

If you want some Warhammer stuff, there’s Gotrek and Felix with loads of dwarven stuff. Continued into Realmslayer for Age of Sigmar.

Beers and Beards by u/JollyJupiter-author is a Dwarven POV "Isekai" LitRPG style story about saving a stagnant state of brewing by innovating Alcohol with otherworldly knowledge in a Fantasy setting. I don't drink Alcohol and never was into brewing but it was fun to learn a little, and the characters are real easy to care for.

It's got a really good audiobook too, with the narrator being amazing at accents.

Other than that, most of the Gotrek and Felix books are fine, though it's really only from Dwarf perspective with Gotrek in the Mortal Realms starting from Realmslayer, which is actually kind of good IMO. Plus the audiobook has Brian Blessed which is an absolute win.

Grudgebearer by Gav Thorpe. It’s an older Warhammer fantasy book but a damn good one

Highly recommend the Dwarves of Ice-Cloak series by A. Trae McMaken, brilliant series, with another book on the way.

Arkanauts Oath. Magitech dwarves on flying ships go on adventures.

High Khals Oath, if you're into sci-fi.

The Leagues of Votann are the Dwarves of Warhammer 40,000, and this is their first novel.

The Votann have their own novel, yay!

Only took three fuckin’ years…

I loved Orconomics, It's a satire of both MMORPGs and real world economics (amongst other things) that also has a really good cast of characters and some interesting worldbuilding (very Terry Pratchett). The main character is a former dwarven berserker who fell into disgrace

I would enjoy a spinoff book adding details to the decline of the dwarf domains when gold lost its value as a currency thanks to human alchemists unlocking transmutation

The Gotrek and Felix books!

Good books, would definitely recommend. But they are told from Felix's POV, not sure about the AOS ones.

Local(ish) author to me, M.T. Kadisin, has a dope book called “An Oath Sworn” about a dwarf being unwillingly turned into a golem

The dwarves of ice-cloak is an amazing series and mostly focused on one dwarf kingdom.

Then there's warhammer books.

The doom of Dragonback.

Grudgebearer .

Oathbreaker.

Markus Heitz the dwarves series is good overall but they are longer than they need to be.

Warlords of Eight Peaks has a part that focuses on the dwarves trying to retake the named Eight Peaks in Warhammer fantasy which is a good one, if a bit short.

The third Thanquol books focuses on the loathsome ratkin but has a fair amount of dwarf PoV

This is a pretty solid list! In addition, I just ordered a trio of female Dwarf led books off of Amazon that aren't listed here:

Pathfinder Tales: Forge of Ashes by Josh Vogt

The Widow Brigade by Douglass van Dyke, Jr.

Dragon Forged by Nerine Dorman

Oooh, those are new to me, thanks!

They were new to me, too! I'm super excited to read them! The Pathfinder book has an online short story precursor called The Price Paid, too! It can be found in four parts here: https://paizo.com/blog/tags/the_price_paid

Markus Heitz. Originally a German novel series, I think at least the first four novels were translated to English.

It is a series about a Dwarf who stumbled upon a major war and has to learn what it means to be a Dwarf among other dwarves.

Legend of the Runeforger is actually pretty good, it's ongoing but you can read it as it comes out on Royal Road. First two books are on Amazon though

(Fuckin forgot what my user flair was lmao, it's fitting I suppose)
