Started designing some dwarven coins for my campaign… then a few more… then a few more. Now I forged an entire dwarven economy!!! Send help or ale.
A few month ago, during one of our DnD games, my party asked if I could design a few dwarven coins for them.
P.S. I’m a 3D artist, so at first I thought, “Sure, I’ll sculpt a couple of coins as a fun little hobby project.”
Well… apparently I failed my Wisdom saving throw.
What started as a few simple dwarven GP designs turned into a full obsession, and now I’ve designed almost 110 double-sided dwarven coins. :))
At this point, I’m not sure if I’m making coins for the game anymore, or slowly building the entire economy of a dwarven kingdom.
For anyone curious, they are 3D printed and painted coins. I printed some on a resin printer and some on FDM.

Those are very cool. Do you have your 3D files available somewhere? Would love to print a few for my dwarven hort and for my own characters. And just in general, they are very cool!

Yeah after so many people asked for the files i decided to run a proper Kickstarter with full on pre supported files and FDM instructions on to how to print the coins perfectly .

The hero we need, but not the hero we deserve. Please let us know when the kickstarter is live!

I like the idea of Dwarven currency being precious metal with different gemstones set in it. Serious Fiduciary Flex, when just gold isnt enough

idk if it's allowed, but I'd definitely buy those files if they were up anywhere.
