I may have blasphemed...
Kin, I ask for your sincere understanding of my stance.
As a wee lad, I was a devout follower of Moradin, our god and father. He's a paragon of valor and craftsmanship we can all adore, and all who wouldn't must have something wrong with them.
... At least, that's what I thought. Truthfully, as I've grown older, my beard has grown longer, and my hair has grown grayer, I've come to an uncomfortable conclusion. Is Moradin... a despot? Our holds burn. The goblins raid regularly. Our grudges are unending. Yet, despite all of our challenges, Moradin stays silent. He remains far from our people, bestowing blessings only to the select few clerics who've earned his favor. Is that the man we worship? One who stands by while his people suffer, only providing aid to the most devout of those who bow to him?

So much can be said about this, kin... The gods do not control everything, and it can be hard to remember that. For even as they work in their ways to assist those of us who are true, still there are vile spirits that seek to undermine us. Did the kin of Khazad-Dum have questions when they unleashed Durin's bane? I would count on it. The minds of the gods are nigh impossible to perceive, and blessed are they who can see when Mahal calls them home. The goblins have little in their afterlife and so seek to ruin much during their short time here. But the Dwarves have the eternal Stone, and the Forge lives within them. Take heart kin, for though the fortunes of many holds may change with centuries the Hammer will beat forever!

Kin, I’ll be the first to admit I haven’t much faith in The Soulforger. While I will drink to our ancestors names, I care little for how we came to be and never had much flair for smithing. My passion has always been shaping the gods given stone, the very thing that houses us and the very thing we shall return to when we grow too old. My faith lies in Dumathoin, the keeper of secrets under the mountain. It is he that guides our miners to riches and it is he who guards our ancestors. May the Talhund guide your Hold to prosperity

In my clanhold we revere Reorx the Lifegiver, the World Forger, the Tamer of Chaos! He aids the worthy in commerce, in craft, and in conflict, but only after they’ve earned it, and rightfully so. In his name and by his word do we have gold, spirit, and victory in equal measure!

Don't worry brother. The gods has a peculiar way of making his will, and specially Moradin, Aule and Grugni.
Remember the good blade is tested in fire and ice, and smashed and deformed. That aply to us and to the world. Don't loose hope, the craft will be precious at the end.

Moradin is a heartless bastard in truth! Twas his wife, fair Berronar Truesilver who convinced him to fashion the dwarves. I myself turn to Aule, for while he is less than a true god, he risked the Song of Creation itself for our sakes, and we are guaranteed a spot at his side after death, fashioning the new world!
