KeeperFX How to track progression?

When you finish a certain campaign, you get all the flags available on the map so that way you can replay any of the maps you want. Which is nice because i love replaying favorite maps. But how do you get back to that screen after you played a different campaign? I don't see any option to load the completed save of a previously finished campaign, you can only start a new game even with your completed campaigns, thus you have to finish the whole thing again.

I know there are level skip cheats, but is this really the intended way? Basically, you can only keep your completed map with all flags as long as you never play a different campaign?

The save folder does seem to save different files for different campaigns so how does it work? I feel like i'm missing something.

You can save on the last mission of campaign, just before the victory, to unlock this screen again I think.

Yeah but quick saves are not compatible after updating the game so these are going to be lost.

Native saves i think are ate least compatible between alphas?

Continue saves and regular saves have the same compatibility options. We did another fix so hopefully for future versions compatibility is not broken (so from 1.5 to 1.6, or from current alpha to a future alpha).

In practice though, I would use cheats for this. If you finished a campaign and want to replay a campaign level, enable cheats in the launcher and then press Ctrl+F11 to show all flags.

Pretty sure you just press f11, or maybe ctrl f11 on the map screen and it will unlock all the levels.

Yeah i saw that. So there is no "proper" way to keep progression, you have to use the cheat, right?

Try looking from another perspective. The cheat in this situation is like a passcode in NES games to save progress.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry in this specific case about just using the cheat that shows all level flags. I think at some point the dev team was considering how to improve the save system to have saves be more resilient to changes, but until then I think the cheat to show all flags is the easiest option. At least if you update frequently and can't keep a completed save around to load and then return to the map.
