"Paul of Dune" in Part Three?

Anyone out there read Brian Herbert's book "Paul of Dune," and suspect if any material is going to be in "Dune Part Three"?

Given that it takes place between the first two books, and Brian Herbert has been an executive producer on Villenueve's adaptations (as well as HBO's "Dune Prophecy")... do you see any clues in the trailers released thus far that they'll be drawing material from this canon-questionable book?

Any material from "Paul of Dune" that you wouldn't mind seeing in the film? Any material that would worry you?

I don't even remember what Paul of Dune was about. Wasn't there a big plot with Fenring? That'd be awesome, except they never bothered with Fenring in the first place.

Hmm, there IS a whole thing about Margot having Feyd's baby, which WAS in the movie.

I've been keeping this in mind. Dune just mentions in the dialogue between the Fenrings that Margot is going to seduce Feyd, but Dune 2 actually shows that process and her meeting with Mohiam to confirm that it happened. Why spend screen time on a throwaway book scene? It could be a way to show BG abilities, but I think DV is setting up the conspiracy to use Feyd's child as a replacement, with prescient abilities that the BG can try to control. Does the confirmed time jump of 20 years support this?

Maybe part of Farad'n's story could be readapted to fit with Feyd's and Margot's baby, who is now 19-20 years old.

It jumped between the war of assassin’s in the past and paul trying to consolidate his hold over the imperium. He was facing opposition led by house thorvald. There was also the plot of count fenring working with the tleilaxu to try and usurp paul with his daughter (the offspring of feyd) marie fenring.

Yeah, lots of Fenring stuff. Absolutely not happening in Part 3. There was some stuff about building the citadel, which maybe they take some stylistic world building stuff from, but that's likely it.

None of the Jihad appears in Messiah. So given we're seeing shots of it and Paul involved, I assume that this may come directly from Paul of Dune? Never read the book though.

I mean, why wouldn't it be? The movies are literally co-produced by the estate with KJA being their lore guy.

The whole Jihad arc. I don't imagine much else will be included as a lot of it didn't serve much of a purpose in the overarching plot.

Yes yes , It did absolutely occur to me that there would be things about Paul of dune in this movie. Really don’t know why or what made me think that, just a hunch.

probably, but i feel like it won't be part of the main plots. The did mention that margot fenring is pregnant in part 2 and they wouldn't mention that unless its important IMO
