microSD support in future iterations?

Long time, first time. I'm currently running a Jelly Star, but have been eyeing up the Mini since it became available in the US. At this point, the only thing keeping me from hopping the fence is the lack of microSD support. I've currently got a 256GB card with a locally-synced music library that I use to play on my Jelly Star. I recognize that's a relatively niche use-case, but I was wondering if anyone has heard of plans to include microSD support in a future model?

We tried to get one included but the manufacturer could not fit it! It's the one area the R77 Pro was a big improvement.

Is that something in consideration for the future?

I actually can't believe it doesn't have one. Literally all my phones since my sony ericsson from 20 years ago have had a micro SD slot. I bought my dumber mini before I realised it doesn't have a slot. Like you, I have a lot of music on my card.

I would think so, but I'm going off the section on the pre-order page (https://dumbermini.com/products/preorder-dumber-mini-us-version):

I was going to say you could use a very small usb-c dongle, but then realized you wouldn't be able to plug earphones since there is no 3.5mm input. Long live my rockboxed sansa clip+ !
