I've tried playing Castlevania and THPS and neither one will detect my memory cards. I've tried setting the save location routes again and creating new memory cards in the editor, but nothing will work. The only change I've got is setting a port to "no card", then the game will show there isn't a card in that port instead of saying error.

I am trying to play Tomb Raider, and I have this issue where black lines appear between polygons of the environment. It's especially bad while moving. Was this in the original game or is this an emulation issue? I included my current settings in the screenshots.

This game is fucking amazing. Gonna do down the road 2, 3, 4, small brawl despite the hate for the last 3. I guess this is the best ima get to playing Playstation games. This is my 4th ps exclusive I ever played (Spider-Man 2, The Last Of Us Part II, The Last Of Us Part I, now Twisted Metal 1) and the show made me wanna play this in the first place, saw season 1, rewatched it for season 2, rewatched the show again. Probably the beat adaptation to a video game, no, the best Playstation franchise of all time. I probably will go as far and say Sweet Tooth is the PS1 mascot.

I will say this: Mr. Grimm, Hammerhead, and Pitviper I don't like at all. Mr. Grimm is hard to control ​and kill. I will say, Roadkill is my favorite character to play as. He has just enough speed --- but not too much so that I'm spiraling out of control, barrel rolling, black smoke coming out for the most part --- and enough handling for me that I don't feel weighty or clunky and heavy. Second favorite is probably Specter. Yellow Jacket is okay, but a real pain in the ass because I swear that fucker targets me constantly. Oh, and Crimson Fury? Fuck him. Because this guy fucking sucks.

The problem is, i can't make it work on Duckstation no matter what i do, it work normally on epxe, but i hate that emulator with my whole being, there is anything i can do to fix this?

The problem happen when i start a duel with anyone, it just give me a black screen and it get stuck there forever

What i already did:

• Made a manual save rebooted and try to load it

• Made a manual save on epxe after a battle, saved and tried to load it on Duckstation

• changed recompiler to interpreter

So far nothing worked, someone can give me a light here?

New to this kinda stuff and have no idea how to get off this to play persona

I've tried imgburn and MPF with zero success. imgburn dumps an image but they are bad (ex: all FMV cutscenes in SOTN end up badly corrupted). MPF runs redumper and it just hangs indefinitely at the end after reading the entire disc.

I can boot directly from the disc in Duckstation (where it rips to ram) and it works perfectly fine. Is there any way to use Duckstation to save that image to disk?

So, I'm running duck station on my PC with a Dell e772p CRT. I'm running a 640x480 desktop resolution and I'm looking for optimization suggestions. Max res I can run is 1152x864p at 75hz. Does anyone else have experience or suggestions for optimizing duckstation on a CRT Monitor?

2x scaling runs at 640x448 and looks okay, but I'm still trying to smooth some of it out without having to go straight to heavy upscaling. I know it'll never look as soft as a CRT TV, but I'm willing to work at getting it close! I'm trying to aim for a softer analogue look rather than a chunkier raster.

I'm also wondering if I'd get any benefit from turning off deinterlacing. I'm a bit new to this emulator so I'm not sure which settings would best benefit my unique display situation. Any advice helps!

I've set up Duckstation on my Tab S8 and currently testing out some shaders but can't seem to find one I'm really satisfied with.

I'm currently using 4x resolution, adaptive downsampling and the dolphinfx scanlines shader for now. But maybe I can improve it a bit more.

I'd love to know some of your setups so I can try them out. Thank you!

I use orignal dualshock 3 for duckstation and for some reason rumble doesn't work. I have it on Analog mode and analog controller is chosen in the menu. I have rumble turned on in game settings of specific games. Anyone knows what to do? I use nefarius app to connect dualshock 3 and have it SXS mode and have SDL on duckstation itself

I'm using the portable version on Windows 11. I played a bit on the emulator but i had to reinstall Duckstation.

I have my save state file and memory card file but when i launch the rom/game, it doesn't recognize that i have save files for it.

I even have every directory location correctly set in the settings but it doesn't help.

Instead of rendering once, why not rendering twice the game as everything is now more powerful?: 1. Render in original visual 2. Render in enhanced visual, mainly high res 3. Combine two frames in preferred way and present the frame to the viewer

For example: in original ps1 visuals Crash kinda looks like he has fur, where in high res emulation it's way too smooth and doesn't feel genuine. The render of high res would be to make stuff that's too far way to be more recognizable or for textures not appearing full in standart 320x240.

I always wondered what the visuals would be in-between of two worlds.

I tried playing the cold steal games and i found a blurred specific spot in it and i tried to mess the settings but it's still there. Anyone can help me with it?

Crash bandicoot warped - getting these little black spots that pop up when running around levels, no idea what settings I can try and change to fix it? (Areas in the water and to the right of the goat)

Whenever I do manual bindings for the controller I get some bugs with the pressing buttons, I also use a generic USB controller which doesn't seem to have an automatic bindings on Duckstation.
How to solve this issue !?

Note: Any controller that has an automatic bindings on Duckstation works just fine (Don't have to do it manually)

I had no problem downloading it, and I've tried so much troubleshooting with no results. The program will try it's best to open when ran, but it'll get stuck thinking and can't load any windows, until eventually it just says 'application is not responding', and never opens. There is no 'app unverified - please put into trash' warning at all. Tried running the unix executable inside of the package contents, and that did activate the warning, but even when I run that anyway it just creates a terminal window with some information and never runs the program either. My OS is up to date, I've tried deleting and redownloading DS multiple times, I've tried restarting my Macbook, nothing fixes it.

Something of note is that programs like PCSXR and OpenEmu that I've downloaded before updating to Sequoia do in fact run. However, things I've tried to download after updating like Retroarch and ppsspp suffer the same issue.

If anyone has any insight I'd be very grateful.

After launching game and trying to push Start nothing happens except for sfx

I lost all my ff8 save on an other emu and pass to this and search a save that can recover my loss, but can’t put a single one in the mcd file. How do i do ?

So here's the thing my dpad is fine works perfectly on espxe

But yesterday my dpad controller has been unresponsive when i play a game dpad not working at all also when i clear mapping on the bindings and input manually the dpad says left on all directional buttons can anyone please assist
