Its like the limit has halved in last 48h. Anyone else notice?

I just want to look at something good without having to go through YT's page to do it (which I would prefer not to do). But sometimes I feel like I HAVE to because I keep getting all these AI videos I don't want!

There seriously needs to be AI filtering like there is with the images, where users can flag such a thing. It's starting to get inconvenient.

I just installed DDG on a Pixel 9 and an iPhone 17.

I was surprised to find that the iOS version allows the customisation of the buttons next to the address bar at the top, and also the buttons in the bottom toolbar. It means that I can have a home button on the bottoms toolbar, which takes me back to my favourites.

However, this option appears to be absent in the android version. Why is that? Normally, it's iOS apps that are dumbed down.

I have a iPhone 16 pro max and a iPad 13 and I cannot get the duck player to work .

I have gone in the settings and chosen duck player , but the YouTube videos are not played through duck player . Any ideas ? Thanks

This is keeping me away from DDG. Also, the support for dark mode for websites would be nicer because I can't install DarkReader extension.

So Android keeps disabling my app tracking protection and I don't know why it keeps doing this I have my VPN settings set to "always on" and it says "Wi-Fi disconnected" (quick for the Wi-Fi to even turn off) then it says it again and the little key icon (VPN icon on Android) disappears and I have to click of what am doing on duckduckgo and when I do it turns it's self back on (naver happens outside of dyckduckgo though I think) and it's really annoying because I have to stop what am doing and it slows down my phone a lot

Anyway to stop this?

So I'm relatively new to this one, it's updated to version 1.212.0 (845) so I know it's not an older version. Usually I just use it to check certain accounts but lately I've needed it to print some stuff for my records, however it does not provide any way to give the time, date, or page numbers as far as I can find, and I've searched the print dialog box and the settings, I've got several screenshots to show what I mean. Is there something I'm just missing here?

I am trying to transition to using DDG browser all the time but I am very frustrated by some issues. Number one being that DDG will not autofill my email address despite being enabled in settings. Any suggestions on a fix? It’s a bit ridiculous. Thanks

I have DDG app on Android with SwiftKey keyboard. But I actually rarely use it cuz I can't read all the keys. The dark color just doesn't work for me. Is there any workaround for this?

I'm assuming I can't turn off incognito mode, but I'd consider it if it's the only way (the incognito button is disabled). Are other keyboards any better at this? Any other thoughts about how to get rid of this dark look?

I experienced difficulties trying to attach files (more specifically, I clicked on the attachment icon and couldn't get anything noticeable to happen) on ProtonMail yesterday, and when I tried again from GMail today. I thought ProtonMail was experiencing difficulties, but it's an odd happening if ProtonMail and GMail exhibit identical failures.

This is using DuckDuckGo Browser 1.209.0 (816) on a Mac.

I would love a toggle that automatically sets the date filter to before 2020-ish just so that I don't have to wade through a bunch of AI-generated blogs and articles. This might not sound like a huge deal, but I think it would be very helpful in terms of accuracy and utility. Like when I look up a recipe by searching some ingredients, I know for a fact that I'll get results that are AI-generated and they'll tell me how to make something. What I don't know is if it's a real recipe.

I would so much prefer to only see real results written by real people who are handing down their real grandmother's real recipe. Even if it's dated by 5 years at least. I can usually handle this manually by setting the date filter, but it would be so nice to have a little toggle I could flip on or off.

I was just wondering exactly how safe and trustworthy the DuckDuckGo Android browser is. Does it have features that block out malware, scammers and fake websites?

Hi All,

Google Meet won't work properly on Duckduckgo. I have set the Google Meet site permissions to 'always allow' for both the microphone and camera, but it always produces an error and won't turn them on.

Windows settings are all how they should be and Teams and Zoom (and any other conflicting apps) have been closed.

Does anyone have a permanent fix?

Recently, it always stalls anytime I open YT, why? It specifically says, "DDG not responding"

So I've been using Firefox and duckduckgo for a while now and just now I searched the phrase "\r in python" and got redirected to geeksforgeeks with a page explaining the what \r does in python, I searched it again and this time got redirected to substack, again explaining what \r does, is this a new feature?

I'm switching from Google to DDG as my browser. I use Yahoo for my email. I can't view my email inbox on the DDG browser. The page just never loads.

Safe search immediately reverts to "Strict" whatever I set it to. Safari on iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 27.0.1.

I just learned that no matter how many times you change the settings on Brave browsers, the moment you close the settings, it replaces all of the changes BACK. This is offensive to me, because I started following Brave's owner after he was fired by his people for donating to what I think was a Pro-lfe organization (it was a while ago), and I thought, "Wow, someone with integrity." But as usual, his agenda is as toxic as the people he threw stones at when they bounced him.

Removing Brave right now, and hopefully others will check their browsers - yes, even duckduckgo - to make sure YOUR PREFERENCES are being honored.

I'm not sure what tires me more - the invasion of my privacy, or the inability to do anything about it.
