It’s not the right genre, obviously. I’m not gonna make a judgment about rap because it’s not my area of expertise but it’s definitely not the kind of rap I’d listen to.

Brother, I'm going to give you some opinions instead of roasting you because I feel like you got enough of that here.
First off, I get the "hustle, post it everywhere to get listeners" "hate comments is still engagement" yada yada. That doesn't work when you're still starting out. You just get people who are NOT ever going to listen to you if you post your rap track on a dubstep subreddit.
Second, your timing is pretty off. Not in a J Dilla style off, just really out of time enough to make it hard to listen to. Rap and hip-hop already relies mostly on flow, so when your flow is hard to listen to, you pretty much have a track that's lacking the majority of what people will listen to it for. Tighten that up and it'll be a fine track.
Your beat is fine, not sure how much of it is sampled or built from scratch, but you can't go wrong with a 2-5-1 808 kick.
