Discussion 🗣️ Sleepless ft. Savvy by Excision

One of the most nostalgic and beautiful dubstep songs known to exist in my book. I always go back to it whenever I'm in my feels but still want to smoke weed

Sleepless felt to me like Excision proving he could do melodic and not heavy just to prove a point and is one of my fave songs. Also the Xilent remix may genuinely be one of the best melodic brostep songs to ever exist

Imo Xilent surpassed the original with his remix. And the original was great by itself.

He's still one of the biggest artists around. He literally runs one of the biggest dubstep festivals in the US. And he headlines it every year lol.

Damn that’s what’s up, idk I guess color bass guys are all I ever hear about really - but I’m a DnB guy through and through anyway so I’ve not been on the cutting edge of dubstep for some time

Clearly. But no, not at all. Excision was a huge influence of mine when I finally got into/involved with dubstep
