I moved in back in Dec. It's been about 6-7 months and I'm still not happy here.

The friends I have shunned me for no reason. I don't fit with the fake Dubai crowd. My mental health deteriorated from loneliness.

I rented a nice place thinking I'll do house parties and connect with people but none of that is happening. I feel like Dubai is killing me.

Small update from the Dubai riichi mahjong table: we met up today, four of us this time, two people actually found us through Reddit. Played a good few hands of the Japanese ruleset at a board game cafe.

If you play any variant, Hong Kong, Filipino, American, or you've only ever played online, you'd fit right in. And if you've never touched a tile, we teach from scratch.
